Lots of great athletes have a signature move. Rix is no exception.
Sometimes he spins his arm five or six times. Sometimes he doesn't do it at all. All the parents of our team just love his spin move! Bryan is, of course, so proud!! You can hear some of the parents in the background commenting on his throw. And you can even glimpse Olivia in action!

I'll bet his throw is enhanced quite a bit with each twirl (twirl? Sounds girly...). But still, way to go Rix! Every time Hayden throws, he says "Step forward and throw!" because that's what his coaches taught him, but it's like unless he says it outloud he forgets.
