Okay so I have said in the past that I don't watch Oprah a lot - mostly because her topics are either boring (Dr. Oz??? How many times can he be on the show???) or because it's just another opportunity for Oprah to show off her many celebrity friends and how much money she has. But I saw that the show was about some fabulous young singer, so I thought I'd flip to it during commericial breaks from the news program I usually watch. And HELLO! She was amazing. She is 16 now and from the Phillipines. I think she sounds like an angel - and she joins the ranks of other singers that I think sound like angels, like Josh Groban and Charlotte Church. In this video she sings "My Heart Will Go On" and I thought this was appropriate because I love Celine Dion, and I know for a fact that Adam is a closet-case Celine fan and probably Kevin is too :) I think she does better than Celine!!! And I love the way David Foster looks at her while she is singing - you can see he is so proud of her! What do you all think??? It gives me goose bumps to watch her and you can search her on YouTube and find other performances. And P.S. turn off my music at the very bottom of my blog or you won't be able to hear her!

Okay, even though I disapprove of you watching Oprah (she won't even let Sarah Palin on her show among all the other things I hate about Oprah!), that girl was amazing! Holy cow, my kids were totally entranced by her too. And I agree, she does so much better than Celine Dion did!
I agree about watching Oprah. She used to be so fun and entertaining. Money and fame has gone to her head!
But, this was amazing! Very powerful. In heaven, I'm going to be able to sing like that!!

I hate that song but she did so good I could probably listen to it again as long as it was her singing it, not Celine anymore =) Yeah, not an Oprah fan, just another celebrity on her soapbox but every once in a while her show does some good, that girl was amazing!
First thing: Just cause I sing it in the car does not make me a closet fan.
Second thing: Oprah is a loser who uses her show to further her political agenda. She must be boycotted...henceforth and forever. But you're forgiven for watching her.
Lastly: I am giving you three "Adam" references on your blog for the rest of the year. You have two left. Use them wisely.
