Boy Scout Camp with Daddy

Bryan is Scout Master in our ward and although it takes A LOT of time away from his family (we already don't see him because of work!) he does have the luxury of being able to take Rix with him when he goes camping. This year Bryan only went overnight because the old Scout Master had already commited to going, so Bryan was thankfully off the hook. But when Bryan went he took Rix and they had a blast. And the place they went was so beautiful! Rix especially enjoyed throwing rocks in the ocean and spending time with Bryan and the other scouts. I am posting most of the pictures because the background is so gorgeous! You can't get scenery like this any where else!

Rix throwing rocks and shells into the ocean. He loves to do this.

Showing Daddy his rocks and shells.

Rix and Daddy together.

See how dirty he is?

Isn't it gorgeous? Doesn't it just make you all want to visit so we can go camping and hiking??? What more do you people need!!! I've given you fun activities to do, cute kids to play with, and gorgeous scenery! Come visit us!

You talked us into it! Next time we come, it will be seven kids and four adults camping. Sounds like a plan to me!

We are on our way- I wish. We will start to save are money and thenwe will be on our way. Those were pretty pictures. How was your night with two kids instead of three? We can't wait until November.

That's so fun that Rix gets to go camping with Daddy all by himself. I'm sure they have a blast together. We'd love to go camping but unfortunately Ohio isn't exactly a prime camping area. Maybe next time we're in WA we can plan a big camping adventure?

Did I forget to mention that I stayed the night at my mom's house? I'm too much of a chicken to stay by myself at my house :)

Well we have Kirtland, Cedar Point, Lake Erie, Amish country and cute kids too... why don't you all come see us?

Beautiful as it is, I know just how cold it probably was too. Where did they camp at? It looks like the ocean or something.
