Bryan and I have our own closets. They are both the same size, and I would guess we have about the same amount of clothes. I even have in my closet a plastic double-drawer system that holds my craft stuff, and a few boxes of pictures that I need to sort through. His is just clothes. So how does this happen?
This is my closet. I do laundry every Tuesday (so I can fold clothes while watching American Idol or Biggest Loser!!) and usually put my clothes away that night or the next day.
Bryan, on the other hand, doesn't ever put his clothes away. This is probably three or four weeks of laundry. It doesn't look like a lot because he picks through the pile for work clothes and stuff throughout the week. Basically, it looks like his closet has thrown up his clothes. All over the floor. Projectile. Gross.
Just another reason that I am awesome - my closet is clean.
And for those of you who actually put your husbands clothes away for him I say STOP! He is a big boy. You are not his mother. Bryan is perfectly capable of putting his clothes away, and after putting towels, sheets, rags, and three little boys clothes away, I am not putting his away too.

I love this...although a picture of your closet is conspicuously MISSING. It is hard to judge both when only one is there. Yes...you are right....all husbands are capable of putting their own clothes away. Maybe this will SHAME Bryan into "there's a right way to live and be happy"....la la la la la
I want to see a picture of your closet open now! We share a closet and it is small for us. I want a big one like yours all to myself!
And I don't put Adam's clothes away because he still doesn't have a dresser! His clothes are just hung up (he does that) or put in a basket by our door. Sad, huh?
Sorry. I put the picture of my closet closed to show that my clothes are put away and not on the floor. I will gladly post my closet for all to see!! There is no shame!
I don't put Jeremiah's clothes away, either. I just set them on top of his dresser and when he asks where a shirt is, I point to his dresser. He gets the point. He puts them away.
Well, I almost felt guilty for not ironing Brent's work shirts. My attitude is that he can wake up at 7:55 to iron a shirt if he needs to. But, I do put them away. Wow. I feel like an overachiever for putting his clothes away. Maybe if I worked I wouldn't... And, I was thinking the same thing--picture of your closet door open!!
Haha!! That's too funny. Juan and I are just like you guys, except opposite. I hate putting away my clothes! Maybe that means I need to start giving stuff away... Anyway, that's too funny!
Ha! Lance is the same way. Every once in a while, like today I go on organizing missions. One time he had the nerve to say "You didn't touch any of my stuff did you?" Um no, I didn't touch your filth Lance
