Crazy + Cute = COLE!

Cole is by far my strangest child! He does and says the funniest things, and has the craziest imagination. I just love to hear him play with his toys. For example, the other day we were coming back from the grocery store and he insisted on holding the bacon. While driving home, the poor slab of bacon was spanked, put in time-out, and then put to bed. All that spanking and stuff pulverized the poor bacon! It was all smooshed and didn't look so good (no worries, it still tasted great!).

He also is my only child who understands phone etiquette. Even Rix, who is 5 (almost 6!) will usually answer the phone with silence. Even after prodding from me to say something to whoever is on the phone, both Bryce and Rix will very quietly say hello. They have gotten better at this, but still don't have it down. But Cole will talk your ear off on the phone! Anything within his grasp will turn into a phone. A calculator, the remote, and things like spoons, stuffed animals, and shoes. The other day we were at my parent's house for dinner, and my dad got on the phone to call someone. Cole, seeing this, picked up his dessert plate, crumbs and all, and proceeded to talk to Papa. My poor dad was laughing and trying to talk to whoever it was he had really called. Cole is seriously a goofball!
