Bryan has this "thing" he does. And he usually does it on days when I'm off at meetings, where I really can't do anything about it. This "thing" he does is a good thing, but not really. Is that possible?
What is this "thing"?
He enjoys/loves/finds great pleasure in cutting my sweet boys' hair.
It is so sad. For me, mostly. I love when their hair is longer. For me it makes them look too old when their hair is cut, and if you know me at all, you know I do not like my children growing up on me. So a couple weeks ago I was going to a meeting (probably a Young Women's meeting, but I can't remember) and as I was getting ready to leave Bryan pulled out the clippers. It was that time again.
Bryce needed his hair cut more for medical reasons. He has a sort of cradle cap still, and when his hair is long we have a hard time getting rid of it. So while it was sort of necessary, I still didn't love the idea. I really wanted him to have his long hair for his first day of school, but I was vetoed. And Bryan buzzed it.
Rix got his hair cut a few weeks ago at Hair Masters. It was more than I wanted to spend and we will not go back. They basically did the same cut Bryan would have done, which is fine, but it is not what I asked her to do. Lame.
Cole saw Bryce getting his hair cut and had to have his cut too. I really wanted to grow his hair out, but Bryan couldn't resist Cole's cute little pleas to cut his hair. Yikes. What do you think?
BEFORE:
Bryce was okay being outside in his underpants until Crazy Uncle Dave reminded him he was "woo-woo". Then he got self-conscious. It was cute. And yes, Bryan is blowing him off with the air compressor. In true Phase II style.

Bryan cuts hair in true Pearson style. Good for your attempts in growing it out. My money will always be on Bryan when it comes to this issue. Go ahead--prove me wrong!
Oh that is so sad. I am with you, I hate when Kevin pulls out the clippers. Bryce looks like a stud with his new hair cut.
I love that dad gets the air compressor out to clean up the hair! It's too cute--shows off Bryce's freckles even more.
How is it that your boys love getting their hair cut?! My boys cry every time. They need Bryan to whip them into shape, or at least your boys to show them how it's done. BTW, have you tried putting olive oil in Bryce's hair about half hour before a bath? It softens the cradle cap and makes it easier to come out. That and Head and Shoulders :)
I think their hair cut short is cute, but Bryce's hair is super cute longer too. Maybe I'm just partial to red heads :) Love the air compressor idea.
I know you don't like it but i think it is super cute. Although this is coming from the mom who does not let their kids hair grow ever. I cut it like every 3 weeks. Yikes!
Head and Shoulders totally works. My doctor told me to use it when Tyce's wouldn't go away. And then I gave some to Kelli. Try it. It really really works!
