Rix is playing T-ball again this year and loves it! He got to play last year with the Town of Steilacoom, but most Lakewood kids are playing for the first time this year, so he's a little ahead, which is nice. This year he is on the Huskies. He loves his team, but hates the team color (purple).
His first game was last week, and although the temperatures were super cold, we all came out to support him. His cousin Olivia is also on the team, so we get to cheer her on too!
Do you see that look he is giving me? I'm already labeled the "embarrassing mom". Oh well.

See?? It was cold! And Madelynn is mad - she wanted to play T-ball too and her mean mom said no.
This is why T-ball rocks. There are always at least eight kids wrestling and fighting for the ball. The ball will be hit towards third base, and the first baseman, the right fielder, and even the catcher will all run to the ball, fighting over it, and whoever gets it usually holds it up like it's a trophy. It's so funny and it makes going to the games so worth it.

Wow Olivia's hair is long in that picture! I love watching them play because it is so funny! The way they all run for the ball.
Hayden started TBall last week but doesn't have his first game for another few weeks. But he doesn't have a favorite position, he just wants to be the one to get the ball every time :) Tell Rix that purple puts hair on his chest, or that it makes him run faster :)
Looks like a blast. We haven't done the whole t-ball thing yet. Probably next Spring with Austin! I love that Rix has opinions already!
