This morning Bryce and Cole were playing with telephone cords (I know, they have real toys, but why play with those when twisty cords are more fun?) and swinging them around. I warned them that if they weren't careful and hit someone with them that I would take them away. A few minutes later Cole came in crying, and I said to Bryce that he needed to be nice. His response from the other room? "I did it on purpose mom!" Thinking he didn't know what he was saying I said, "I will take it away if you hit with the cords! Be careful!" And he said, "No mom, I didn't hit him with the cord! I pushed him down with my hand on purpose!" If only we could all live with such honesty!

hahaha that is so funny! I think some things would be better if people really were that honest. Other times I'm not sure that honestly would really go over well.
I LOVE your new blog design! Super cute!
I love your boys! I don't think that I have ever read one of your posts and not laughed.
At least he didn't say "Jack did it!"
Maybe he thought he'd get in less trouble? Or that you wouldn't take the cords away? I love your oil-and-water kids!
I can just hear his little voice saying that. Can't wait to see what he's like when he's a teenager!!
