On Wednesday Carissa, Adam, and I took advantage of the warm weather and our local radio station's coupon for $10 admission into Wild Waves and took the kids to cool off and have fun! We knew it would basically be a kids only day because we had six kids and only three adults, but kiddie rides have come a long way since I was a kid! I had a blast on most of the kiddie rides I went on (which I had to go on most of them since Rix is barely not tall enough to ride alone). The weather was perfect and we had a great time. And we will definitely go back again on three conditions: hot weather again, cheap and/or free tickets, and warmer kiddie pool water! The water in the kiddie pool is like ice water, and the kids stayed in for about an hour, but as soon as they got out to eat a snack we couldn't convince them to get back in. They were too cold! Wild Waves plans on making it warmer, but it hasn't happened. Yet. Here are some pics of our fun day!
We went on the Giant Slide at least ten times! They loved it!
One of the kiddie rides I didn't (and couldn't) go on with the kids.
I had to literally pull Cole off this screaming. He would have been on it all day!
Firefighters Bryce and Jack. Fire red hair to match!
This ride was way more fun than I first gave it credit for. It's considered a "kiddie" ride, but I wanted to go on it again!
Hula Madelynn!
We trekked up a huge and steep hill with two heavy strollers just to go on the carousel!
Thankfully they loved it.
Eating fries at the pool.
We went through lots and LOTS of lemonade!
Cole got a little cold and snuggled up to Adam. Must be his hairyness that kept him warm!
Rix enjoyed spraying passerbys with the water gun. Typical Rix!
Bryce got adventurous and went down some water slides!
Cole is my water baby.
Bryce and me on the kiddie coaster. Also way more fun and FAST then I thought it would be!

We definitely have to go again with cheap tickets. It was a lot of fun, minus the sunburn!
See, Wild Waves brings out the child in you! Glad you guys had fun, I remember the kiddie pool area being freezing too. Hopefully they fix that soon!
So, when you say rides, you mean rides! I thought slides or something. Way fun! And, thanks for TMI about Adam's hairiness. Ew gross!
And, I can't wait to see Cole again. I think he's definitely going to hold his own with the other 2-year-old (almost) cousins!!
