Starting the Year Off with a Dose of Craziness!

Most days I complain that my life is ho-hum. It's the same old same old every day - get up too early, showers, dressed, get the boys dressed, eat breakfast (usually Eggo waffles in the car - no syrup!), go to the office, survive, come home, eat lunch, nap time (yeah!), get dinner ready, feed kids, survive, bath, and bed time. Seriously, the same every day. Not that I don't enjoy my days with my boys, but a girl needs some excitement every once in a while (can a get an amen??) Except in between all the scheduledness (totally a word) we have some craziness! How can you not with three little boys running the show?
Cole's "before" picture
Getting his hair cut - he thought this was really fun!

And after the hair cut. I always have a love-hate feeling towards hair cuts - I love that they aren't shaggin'wagon. But I hate how old they look!Rix and Bryce were playing "pirates". They had pirate hats on and I love that Rix is wearing the smallest hat we own (meant for like 3 month olds!) and Bryce is wearing the biggest hat - one of Bryan's. And their napkins are the treasure map. Arrrgh!Bryan bumped his head at work and got a cut (another downside to no hair and no hats on the job! Don't worry - we totally reported it to L&I! JK!). Bryce was super concerned and insisted on putting a bandaid on it. If you can't tell, he has the bandaid on upside down and can't figure out why it is sticking to his fingers.
There we go! Look at that look of concern!!

Rix drew a picture of the family. The best part?? Bryan's ears. He totally got that right :)

Cole loves to watch for Rix's bus at the office. Don't worry - he's only four feet off the ground. Oh, and Papa is watching him :)

Cole loves to be up on things - the bed, the couch, the chair, the windowsill. He gets all giddy and happy if we let him up on things. That's exactly what I need - a daredevil!

Cole - as Dr. One-Sock Recycle. Don't ask - I don't have an answer for you.

How do you get your kids to love haircuts? Mine cry through the whole process. And I love the craziness. I need to document my own just to remind me that every day isn't just a ho-hum day. I can't wait to see your kids (oh and you) again!

haha I LOVE all of your pictures in this blog! Your boys are so handsome. I love the treasure maps, and the last Cole waiting for Rix's bus to come SO adorable.

Yeah, Jack laughs through his whole haircut like we're tickling him or something. Anyway, I love the John Deere shirt Cole is wearing (ahem... I think you know why!) and I love the craziness! It totally keeps you on your toes, doesn't it?

Amen!! :) That's why I look forward to getting the kids out of the house at least once a day. And if we don't--I think the world is going to fall apart around us! Love your adventures and the haircuts and band aids. Maybe Bryce can teach Kade that band aids are good things...
