So I actually went to a Relief Society activity last night (shocker!) because it was a service auction and I think they are so fun! I "won" a basket full of handmade gift bags, homemade rolls from Jodi "The Jod" Hjelm (I will post the recipe when I can wrangle it from her - they are wonderful!), and a night of boating and tubing on the lake from the RS President. But that is all fun and games. The tragedy??? While I was gone, Bryan (hold on, give me a minute . . . ) cut Bryce's (*sniff sniff*) HAIR!!! It was so crazy to walk in after I got home and not recognize my little boy! Granted, he still has his red hair - I was afraid we would cut it and the red would be all gone, but it is still there. Check out the before and after for yourself.
BEFORE (Isn't is great??)

AFTER (Doesn't he look - old?)

The moral of the story? Don't leave your children with Bryan - terrible things can happen!!!

I will DEFINATELY not be leaving Roman with him, we can't bring ourselves to cut his hair, but he can take Hayden whenever, we can't get his cute little curls to grow back anyway. Luckily for your Bryce's hair will grow back. Just hide the scissors next time you're out...and way to bring home the goodies!!!
No way, at our service auction we only get to "buy" one thing. Anyway, how fun. I mean, the auction and all the sweet loot you got. I like his hair cut, though, but I'm sorry you were so saddened by your loss. Hopefully it will all work out for the best. Great moral story though.
So, I was expecting a buzz when I read your post. And, I looked at the pictures and thought, "It's still long." I bet it was heart breaking to see his locks cut shortER. :) I have to give you credit, Austin's always had a buzz. But, Kade has great hair (ask his grandma). And, I would be sad if Brent buzzed it too.
And, is that day of boating redeemable with say...two guests to come along around the beginning of August? Just throwing it out there! :)
Okay, it could have been worse. Bryan could have shaved him bald!! But it was still a shocker and I think the thing I hate the most is how OLD it makes him look! I like my kids to look younger - it makes me happy.
Oh man I know how you feel. Do you have any ideas how to get the clippers away from our husbands? I loved his long hair, I hope one day kevin can be patient enough for Luke's hair to grow. Have fun on the lake, that sounds like so much fun.
He looks a lot like Bryan in that picture!! Wow he does look old. That is so sad that his lovely locks of redness are gone! Don't worry though im sure it will grow back.
