Rixism: Edition 3 years old

* Rix stepped on a slug and the guts squished out of it (it was super-gross!). So anyway, Rix looked down at the slug and then looked and Bryan and I and said "I guess he won't see his mommy anymore." What?? Who taught him that??
* I still help Bryce get dressed and Rix likes me to help him, mostly for attention, but sometimes he just would rather do something else but get dressed. So when he asks me to help him I usually remind him he is three and can get dressed himself. So the other day he came to me while I was dressing Bryce and kept bugging me to take off him jammie shirt. I asked "Why?" and he said "I can't get it off" and, being preoccupied with Bryce asked "Why?" and Rix says emphatically "Because I have a huge head!" Point taken!

* We were reading "The Night Before Christmas" (I know - it's June!!) and Rix was looking at a picture of Santa going down the chimney and said "Mom! Santa doesn't know how to get into the house!" He was really concerned!

* Cole has a hemangioma (also called a "strawberry") on his leg. It is pretty bumpy, but just a birthmark. Anyway, the other day RIx came to me all upset and said "Mom! Cole is turning into a strawberry!!"

* Rix also came to me the other day upset because daddy wouldn't let him cut his hair like Daddy's. (I, too, was upset. Rix would be so awesome bald!! Right?? No? Am I the only one who thinks so??) So I asked Bryan about it and he said he was teasing Bryce and saying "Let's shave your head" and Rix came running in and saying "Me Me Me Me!"

*Today David Cook's song "Time of My Life" was on the radio, and when it was done the DJ said who was singing, and Rix says "That's American Idol!" (I am so proud!) "David Cook was on American Idol! And David Enchilada - Nana's winner was David Enchilada." Enchilada, Archuletta, whatever. We know who the REAL winner is! And can you tell where Rix was when the AI Season Finale was on???
