...or is it? It depends on who you go with.
We went out last weekend with our good friends the Ross's (Rosses?? whatever.) Anyway, usually when we hang out with them we go with our whole family because their kids are about the same age as our kids (except Rix) and they get along pretty well. And it saves on babysitting! But this time we ventured out to see who would be the reigning Putt Putt Golf champion without the little ones.
Here's a hint: it's not me.
I don't think I take the game serious enough to win (c'mon! It's called putt putt! How can you take that seriously!). But Bryan, our resident golfer, sees it differently. And Tessa is mighty competitive, and she was determined to show Bryan up! I think Cory would have been more competitive, but he had one hole that placed him in the rankings next to me (that is not a good thing.).

Putt Putt is NOT a Serious Game...
Poor Cory. I think this is the hole where his ball flew off the green into the street behind the fence!
Golfing UP a hill? I was the worst at this hole! But at least I look good doing it :)
In the trees. We appreciated the shade!
See how serious Bryan is taking it? Geez...
Tessa and I with our "pucks" (haha-Tessa called them that. It was funny at the time!)
The nice man at the counter wouldn't give Cory and me 4th place ribbons (we tied!) but instead gave us pretty pink Last Place ribbons!
Bryan and Tessa with their Second and First place ribbons. I think they're gloating.
Ok, Bryan is definitely gloating. He put his ribbon in his hat to show off, but I think all he managed to do was make a faux rat tail...what do you think?
Regardless of the winner, we had an awesome time! It was fun to golf and the weather totally cooperated. And we felt that because we chose the "challenging" course that we burned enough calories for Cold Stone afterwards (I didn't even order the low-fat ice cream!). We will have to putt putt again to take on our current champ. I can see that he's going down!

Adam and I need to go mini golfing again (and mini golfing sounds sooo much better than putt putt). It looks like you had fun. And you're welcome for watching your kids :)
