My sister Carissa sent me this link of a tribute to Gordon B. Hinckley by Glenn Beck. It is so good! I was so bummed that our news programs here in Washington didn't mention his passing, so it was so nice to hear Beck's thoughts. His tribute made me cry because it reflects a lot of my own feelings about the prophet. I never got to meet him, but I did get to be at a BYU devotional (the only devotional I ever attended - that should say something about him!) and General Conference where he was at and the feeling in the room when he entered was, for lack of a better word, amazing. Even before we knew he was in the room we could feel a difference, feel his presence. I feel so lucky to be in a church that has such great leaders and to have known President Hinckley and his example to me. So I hope you enjoy this little video - and have tissues ready!

So, for some reason I can't watch the video. But, sometime I plan on it! Thanks for the post. Such a sad time, but it's so exciting to think about the next life and that he's with his cute wife.
I cried too. Stina, I'll send it to you on email. I really liked Glenn Beck's tribute, though, since it was like putting my words in his mouth.
I cry just thinking about it, although I saw the video. I hope they put his memorial service on kbyu website or something so we can see it too. I loved Beck's tribute too, it was nice to see someone in the news give it the attention it deserved.
