Cole has started smiling at us - especially when he has just finished eating and has a clean diaper. Yesterday he woke up from a nap when Bryan got home and saw his standing in the kitchen and just started smiling at him. It is really cute! I can't believe he is old enough to start smiling - his first month went by so fast with family in town and lots going on for the holidays. He is sleeping better at night too. There were a few nights last week where he slept seven hours straight! Most nights we only get up once with him - although those kinds of nights spoil us and when he wakes up more than once we don't know what to do!

I just happened on your blog. I'm a fellow Mormon, living in Provo. I love the pictures. Robert Munsch has a picture book called Purple, Green and Yellow. When I saw the picture of your son with the markers all over his face I thought of that book.

And by the way--I was asking Austin who did something the other day. Like, who did that? And he went through Jordyn and Kade. I told him they didn't do it--so he blamed Rix. I totally believe him!
