Carissa and I are in the PTA Presidency - she's co-VP with my mom and I'm treasurer (which is funny, because if you know me, you know I'm horrible with numbers!). We had our first school function in the end of Septemer - we threw a Sock Hop! It was a blast!! Carissa, our friend Becky, and I were in charge of selling root beer floats and they were popular - the line was so long all night until we ran out! And Bryan (bless his heart!) took over the ice cream scooping duties because us girls weren't muscle-y enough - he didn't even want to be there and we made him work!
It was so fun to see the kids and their parents dancing and having a good time. They went crazy over Taio Cruz songs and I learned that Rix knows the Macarena (how did he learn that??). It was a great evening and we are already planning another one in Spring!

Haha so funny! I'm sooo glad Bryan helped with the ice cream. It was rock hard! We definitely need to do another sock hop. It was so fun!
