Bryan left us, uh, I mean, went on a six-day vacation to Utah to go horseback riding with his dad and Kramer. Leaving me, huge and all pregnant, to take care of the kids, put our newly remodeled (and not quite finished) kitchen back together, and all at the same time try not to go into labor (no worries, I didn't).
But while Bryan was gone we stayed busy with t-ball practices and a game, I attended a baby shower and an "accessories" party, and I took the kids to the Idlewild Elementary carnival. Now this carnival is no ordinary school carnival. It's been going since I went to school there, and it's a blast every year! There are games in every classroom, food, treats, a cake walk, several bounce houses, and face painting done with air brushes. My kids ask about it every year. This year I was brave and took all three by myself. Well, my sisters were there with their kids, and so were my friends Tessa and Cory and their kids, and my mom, and, well, Adam did leave a little early with Rix (he was meeting my dad at the father/son campout), but really, I was BRAVE! I was. Really.
Here are some pictures of the boys playing games, sliding down bounce houses (I need to invest in one of thse) and eating more sugar than they probably eat in a month (they had suckers, Laffy Taffys, ice cream, cotton candy, and peach rings).

When Daddy's Away...We Play!
Cole could not get enough cotton candy. And he may or may not have thrown a fit when it was all gone and I refused to buy more. And yes, I made the three boys share a bag.
Bryce golfing. I mean, "golfing".
The cake walk. I'm busy taking pictures and I forgot that Cole has no idea how to do a cake walk. The hand gently guiding him to walk? That's my prego-twin friend Tessa (she's due 5 weeks after me, and yes we get stared at when we hang out together - we're both huge).
Rix getting some air!
Bryce could've gone down the slide a million times, but that would've taken 2 million tickets.
Bryce and Macade playing the duck pond game. They pick a duck, and the number on the bottom of the duck is what bucket they pick the prize out of. The carnival rocks because it has games for all ages, and Cole could've played this game all night.
Rix playing with his whistle. Thanks carnival for handing out obnoxious toys. Rix left after this for the campout.
Cole going down his own way.
Bryce and Macade doing the race cars. Macade actually won, but the man giving out the 1st place trophies must have seen Bryce's adorable disappointment and gave him a trophy too. It totally made his night.
The face painting was actually air brushing. Bryce chose a rainbow, sparkly spider (you know, the poisonous kind, right?) and Cole chose a Toad. Red and black. And sparkly. We chose to have it on their arms because the guy in charge said it was possible it wouldn't come off for a couple days, and I didn't want them going to church with spiders and toads on their faces. Or sparkles.
Bryce's glittery, dangerous spider.
Cole loved his toad. Toad and toad. Nice.

You are definitely brave! Your boys were pretty good for you though. I'm just glad you didn't have that baby while he was gone :)
We missed you out here! We should have all come up and gone with you to the carnival. looks like a blast! I want to see pictures of your kitchen.
Uh, does Tessa know you call her "huge" on your blog? I'm glad you were so BRAVE to take your kids to the carnival, even if we didn't see much of you :)
That was a fun night. My kids were high on sugar too that night. When we got home they got a little crazy. Sugar plus extreme tiredness = craziness i guess.
