Who knew? But Rix has informed me that tomorrow, December 3, is Boy's Day. In his words, it's like Mother's Day and Father's Day, but for boys. When prodded further, he explained this holiday to me.
Me: So Rix, what exactly is Boy's Day?
Rix: Boy's Day is a day that we celebrate boys (look of annoyance here).
Me: Oh, so what do we do for boys on this day?
Rix: Well, you can give me lots of treats, and clean my room, and make my bed.
Me: Well, I do that pretty much every day. What else do we do on Boy's Day?
Rix: You buy me things, and you take me to a movie, and bake me cookies.
So get ready with your treats and cookies and stuff. Tomorrow is Boy's Day.
And I have been informed that January 17th is Girl's Day.

So... how are YOU celebrating Boy's Day? I'm sure you have it all planned out. I do.
Actually, it worked out perfectly because Bryan needs to take the boys out of the house for Enrichment tonight, so he is taking them to Red Robin. Bryan owes someone from work dinner so he is taking him tonight, and Rix thinks it's for boys day. It's in the stars!
I'm so glad my boys have no idea what Boys Day is (thanks Rix, for not sharing this info) and Dec 3 went by without anything that might spoil them :)

Totally! Mom's are in for girl's day because Rix doesn't differentiate between girls and women. So we double dip with Mother's Day and Girl's Day! Take full advantage!!!
