About three months ago Bryan and I celebrated our anniversary in Seattle, and that same weekend was a Seahawks game (against the Bears) and I wanted tickets soooo bad! It would have been such a surprise for Bryan! But my inner-cheapness came out (or maybe it's just down right common sense) because tickets were at least $100 a piece, and that was for the nosebleed section! $200!!! That is how much I spend a month on food for my ENTIRE FAMILY OF FIVE! There was no way I was going to spend that much on lousy football!
Then, about a week before our anniversary, I got a call from our good friend Rick Yorkk, who owns a business that often works with Phase II. He had a pair of Club Level tickets for a future Seahawks game and wanted to know if I was interested in them. Was I ever! The tickets even came with a free parking voucher! So I surprised Bryan with these tickets at the hotel on our anniversary.

The game itself was awesome. Freezing, but awesome. We went last Sunday (I know!! Sunday!) where we played the 49ers. I found it way more interesting to watch than baseball, and I like going to baseball games. The crowd was fun and loud and the Seahawks won! It was a close game and tied until the last minute or so when the Seahawks made a field goal with just seconds before going into overtime. It was a blast and so fun to spend time with Bryan! And thanks (again!) to my parents for watching the boys and surviving church without us to help. We owe you big time!

The chilly couple. We were in the club level (woot!) so our chairs were covered with a squishy cloth and we had access to the club room, where it was inside and warm. We had restaurant options and tables and chairs to eat at. And the whole think was surrounded by glass so you could watch the game from inside - without frostbite!

Bryan and the field. People are rushing the field because WE WON! All the drunk people around us were high-fiving us like we were best friends!
You can see the Seattle skyline behind me. Do you see how freezing I am? I am wearing thermals with a pair of thin ski underpants and my jeans, three shirts, a hoodie, my ski coat, two scarves, gloves, a beanie, and handwarmers and toastie toes. Brrr!

Haha! You are super layered! Love the amount of clothes you are wearing. Did you ever see that Friends episode where Joey is wearing ALL of Chandlers clothes at once and says "Could I BE wearing any more clothes?" like how Chandler would say it? Probably not, but that is what you remind me of. Anyway.....
I'm glad you had fun at the game! Super jealous of your seats. I need friends or coworkers to hook me up like that!
Seriously Carissa? Do you know who you are talking to? Could you BE any more weird? OF COURSE I know what you are talking about! I loves Friends!!!
How fun! I've never been to a football game! I love watching live games, but not in the freezing cold. What a nice anniversary gift.
Well, not only do you win the wife of the year award, but you are dang cute in your winter clothes. I remember that cute beanie you had in college. And look at all your cute colors! Next time you're out here, we're going shopping for that stuff for me! You will make me cute, dang it!
