So Rix says the most random things, and every day he makes us laugh. He copies a lot of the phrases that we say, so we have to be careful. He says things like "What just a second - let me think first" or he tells Bryce to "relax" and "take a deep breath". He 's my protege!
1. Rix does "This little piggy" on his own toes. It's been really nice here, so he was wearing his flip-flips and was doing "this little piggy" on himself in the carseat. And the poor third piggy!! Instead of yummy roast beef, Rix said, "This little piggy had gross beef." Was it rotten?
2. Rix can tell what some sodas are by their look. He can recognize Diet Coke (which I haven't had much of lately and in fact think it sounds gross most of the time), Pepsi, orange soda, and Sprite. He also can recognize (and of course loves) Mountain Dew. However, he calls it Mountain Dude.
3. Rix knows about Monsters thanks to Monsters Inc (again, Disney is corrupting my child!). He likes Sully and Mike, but for some reason is scared of Monsters. A few weeks ago he said he couldn't get out of bed because there were monsters under the bed. He was mostly scared because he said the monsters were going to take his pajamas off and he would be woo-woo. What kind of monsters are these?
4. Rix gets a treat every morning from the lady at the post office. When he gets suckers he always asks what the flavor is. So last week he got a yellow sucker and I told him it was lemon. Now to get this story you have to know that Rix pronounces his "L" with a "W" sound. So anyway, we were in the car and he was eating his sucker, and out of nowhere he says, "Mom, I like women." I turned around and said what??? He said "I like women!" It took me second to realize that he was saying lemon. Isn't he a little young for this??

That is so cute. Olivia can tell what sodas are which too, but she calls them "Mommy's soda" and "Daddy's soda". And I think it's good Rix likes women, it's better than the alternative, isn't it?
How funny you and I both say, "Let me think!" Great minds think alike. Can't wait to see you guys!
Hahaha...I need to start paying attention to what Hayden says and remembering them. Our kids will look back on their "-isms" and think they were pretty funny kids. How cute!
You need to update your blog more often.
